Gold Diamond Band
Is it possible for a jeweler to add micro-pave diamonds to a plain gold ring band?
I found a ring I want to purchase, a solitaire diamond with pave diamonds around it, but feel that it would look better if there were a couple micro-pave diamonds on the band. Would a jeweler be able to add micro-pave diamonds to this plain band? And if so approximately how much would it cost?

Yes it is absolutely possible to add pave set diamonds to any plain metal, so long as it is wide enough to accommodate the stones. Diamonds are cut as small as 0.6 MM and you would need a band at least 1.0 - 1.2 mm wide to set that size.
The price will vary by the size , quantity and carat weight you would like to add.
1.0 MM diamonds - about 200 stones per carat
1.3 MM diamonds - about 100 stones per carat
1.7 MM diamonds - about 50 stones per carat
