Natural Diamond Earrings
What are the requirements for a passport?
My mom's coworker is getting married in Cancun in 120 days and she wants my older sister and me to be in the wedding party. I know the basics of a passport; I know it takes like 6-8 weeks to get one, but that's all I know. Google didn't help much at all, so I need to know what I can do in a passport photo. I read that you can only close your mouth and keep it in a neutral position, and my neutral position is a small smile. I also planned on wearing my natural curly hair down (it comes an inch or two below my shoulders) with a pretty headband and small diamond earrings. I would wear only concealer and some clear gloss. Is this okay to do?
Also, I need to know if I can take my own passport picture or if my family has to go somewhere and get it taken.

Okay, for your Photo: Yes, you can take your own picture however, because of how many rules there are you might want to get it taken either when you sign up or at some place like Walgreen's.

You must turn in your application in person so use this link to find the nearest place to you to apply http://iafdb.travel.state.gov/
Your make up, so long as it's very light, should be fine. You just can't wear any hats/head coverings or sun glasses so the headband is probably out. The earnings should be fine too. Also, it can take a very long time to get a new passport (as in months, not weeks) so don't be shocked if they tell you it will be several months before you can get your passport. Hopefully it will get to you before the wedding.
