Which hand and finger would you wear a promise ring?
My boyfriend gave me a promise ring for Christmas:
The style is SIMILAR to this one, I couldn't find my exact one on the Macy's website

The only difference is mine is a yellow gold with princess cut stones (square shape), and the middle stone is light purple. It's cubic zirconia too, but it is still shiny and gorgeous . 
why is it the left instead of the right? I thought you only put a ring there if you're married
I honestly never understood the point of a promise ring. You're spending money on a ring you're going to replace later on with an engagement ring. Why not just save the money to buy a slightly more expensive engagement ring and go ahead and be engaged? It's not like you only have so long after you're engaged to get married.
But anyway...
It depends on the person. Most people put it on their left hand ring finger because a promise ring is a promise that he'll marry you someday.
